Everything is coming along very well! We’ve started to stake the ‘Cobra’ beans as they started to trail along the ground, unfortunately only two of the plants made it, but they’re looking strong and have started to flower. Talking of flowers, the courgette flowers are fabulous! And it’s so exciting to see four baby courgettes [...]

Now that we’ve cleared most of the weeds we can see our onions coming along very nicely!! Some are larger than others, but all are looking very good! The sweetcorn is also looking great and we can see where the cob (is ‘cob’ the right word?!) is starting to form on most of the plants. [...]

A trip to the allotment for weeding this evening… it needed it!! Tony and Jordan came up to help – we needed them too! After so much heavy rain and many sunny spells there’s a lot of green on the allotment! Sadly the plants that are doing extremely well are the weeds, but many of our seeds are taking root too.
