Dodging the Rain

The weather wasn’t so kind today, but we managed to dodge the rain to get two rows of potatoes in (King Edwards) and a lot more weeding done.

We cut the sage, thyme and chives for a lovely bread and the mint for a tasty salsa and a delicious pudding – all of which we shared with The Gang on Saturday evening.
Lisa is wearing the allotmentgirls t-shirt in pink from our [...]

We Start Planting!

First planting session today – our lovely allotment is starting to take shape!!!
Lisa came up with a very unusual way of creating paths between the rows through the development of the ‘wiggle walk’. Looks a bit strange but is very effective – we are sure everyone will be doing it soon.
Planted today:
Lavender (4 types)
Thyme (2 [...]
