It does seem like all we do on our visits to the plot is dig… but we’re making really good progress and we can see proper soil!!
Today we almost cleared the area where Marjory used to live, levelling out and digging out the blasted dandelions…

Marjory (our compost heap) is taking up most of the space on the most weeded plot, so we’ve only sown two rows of carrots:
‘Early Nantes 2′ – an old packet which we’ve probably sown far too late, but nevermind!

As you know we’ve been a bit slap-dash/fair-weather/downright lazy so far this year!! But yesterday we had a good old weeding and digging session and cleared a large section of our thistles, couch grass and other weedy enemies!
