Today Lisa planted the garlic… it was getting a bit stinky sat in the cupboard and the house was starting to smell, so it had to go! Planted two bulbs (about 12 cloves) of Purple Moldovan – the stinky one – hoping they’re ok, one had got a little damp and one of the cloves [...]

We had our first two onions from the allotment this weekend… they were strong enough to make a grown man cry

Lisa spent a lot of the time on Saturday weeding the herb garden… We cut the sage, thyme and chives for a lovely bread and the mint for a tasty salsa and a delicious pudding – all of which we shared with The Gang on Saturday evening. Lisa is wearing the allotmentgirls t-shirt in pink from [...]
