It does seem like all we do on our visits to the plot is dig… but we’re making really good progress and we can see proper soil!!
Today we almost cleared the area where Marjory used to live, levelling out and digging out the blasted dandelions…

A good old digging and weeding session this morning… the rain held off for us and there was a slight glimmer of sunshine for about two seconds!

At last, a dry and mild day… got lots of digging done this morning, giving us plenty of space for shallots and garlic. Or raspberries? Can’t decide!

Just about dug over the plot (apart from the herb bit)… wouldn’t mind some frosty mornings to kill off bugs and roots we missed!!

More weeding and clearing, but dug over a small section (ok, a very small section) enough to plant a very short row of Tom Thumb lettuce and an equally short row of Radish – French Breakfast 3.
