Ants in the wormery

There are so many ants in Lisa’s wormery, more so than any other time… so we did a bit of reading up…

Ants can be an indication that the wormery is too dry and we have noticed recently that that’s been the case – so we’ve sprinkled it with collected rainwater.

Another tip was a sprinkling of cinnamon, so we’ve tried that too.

We couldn’t see a queen, though she must be there somewhere – if we do find her we need to get her out!
